BTW FrankS, this has nothing to do with racism at all. Like in early December when people in the Benelux countries celebrate Sinterklaas (comparable with Santa: elderly man, beard, chimneys, spreading happiness among youngsters by giving presents...) well, this one is not having any reindeers, but riding on a borse (on the rooftops) & always accompagnied by 'Zwarte Pieten'(Black Peters) which all can be traced back to the fact that those black helpers were Moors who helped that Spanish bishop, who is a well-known saint protecting both those at sea as well as children.
Spain still has many lovely historical places where the influence from the Moors & their architecture & art are still very visible.
BTW, I would so wish people would first try & look up what some traditions are all about instead of trying to be 'politically correct' all the time & start making screaming comments !
