You're right Rudolf. The White Drawing Room posted the link for is the one at Buckingham Palace. The one where the 'State Visit' exhibition which took place at Windsor Castle is actually the Green Drawing Room. There is no White Drawing Room in the Castle.
I had the privilege of seeing the semi state rooms, of which the Green Drawing Room is one, back in September (they are only open during the autumn and winter months) and they are stunning. The Semi State rooms consist of the Green Drawing Room, the Crimson Drawing Room, State Dining Room (Which is used for official entertaining by the Queen during Ascot week and during the evening for 'dine and sleep' parties every Easter), Octagon Dining Room (used by members of the Queen's household when the Court is in residence at Easter), Grand Reception Room and the Garter Throne Room (where new Knights and Ladies are invested with the insignia of the Order by the Queen) All information taken from the Official Souvenir Guide to Windsor Castle I personally think that September/October is the best time to visit the Castle. It is less crowded and the bonus is all the official (State and Semi State) rooms are open to the public. Do check the Castle website or call before visiting just to make sure though!!
