You´re right, Henri.
But in this case every (daywear) outfit from Maxima was made "one step up" with hat. And this is a tradition, which unfortunately is not existing these days in Jordan or Spain. Jordan is a musilme country, so no hats here. .... I would love to know, why it is no longer in Spain. It is said, that Queen Sofia does not like hats. In this case it would have been a pity, that this tradition to "put an event up with a hat" in Spain may have been lost. I would love to see Letizia with a hat. But I think, this will happen the first time at Victorias wedding.
So this is the local "behaviour" of every Royal Palace and how to adapt it in daily life.
