Haha... I agree with your observation on Princess Astrid's gown. I like this occassion. It is a nice meeting of the King with the members of Parliament. Too bad that the dresscode is not maintained. In the pictures I saw gentlemen in white tie (the dresscode indeed), gentlemen in black tie and gentlemen in daily suits. I liked the gentlemen who came to the palace with the colourful traditional wear from their region. It shows the diversity of the country.
