I donīt know if this is true, but Iīve got the impression that all royal courts (may be apart from the spanish one) receive less guests for state visits than in years before. There were sometimes one or two state visits coming in in spring AND in autumn. But this year some royal couples just seem to go abroad themselves instead of receiving foreign guests (Denmark, Norway. What about Belgium, the NL, Sweden...?).
And Denmark is a country that received very little state visits in recent years at all.
Do you think this is because of the world economic crisis or can we still expect state visits we still do not know about? I think by mid-october the royal schedules are complete, arenīt they?
