My name is Angela Stevens and I am writing because I would like to meet Dr. Angelou. Several times I have tried to do so and it has not worked out as planned. I wrote in the Alltel essay contest and have heard nothing yet. I have been a big fan of hers and she has inspired a great deal of my writings, I would be both honored and humbled to meet her. I would like to show her some of the poetry that I have worked on and just speak to her about how wonderful I think her work is. I love to write, it is my art and passion. You may not be able to help, but I thought I would, at least try. Thank you for your attention and I hope this e-mail finds you well. God bless and thank you again.
