Your "EMMANUEL'S GIFT" was really inspiring and it showed what one person could do to climb out of a bad situation. It also showed how you, OPRAH WINFREY cares about the handicapped. I want to be like you on a smaller stage. My Thai friend Suchin is like a son to me. At the age of seven, most of the flesh on his arm was torn away, and he nearly bled to death. Later, his entire family abandoned him and he was basically a slave for his growing years. He suffered rejection and poverty, but slowly he created a small business for himself. He needs an operation to rebuild his arm, so when I recently learned that I'd won a contest, I thought --this is how I'll help my friend. However, the Greek contest lawyer named Anderson Terry wants me to pay him 340 EURO before I can collect a significant award. Now, Oprah, my friends and my bank are yelling 'DON'T DO IT! It is totally a scam!' Probably it is, but I still hope I can help my friend. I'm to fly to Athens on DECEMBER 22, or at the very least pay an account at the PIRAEUS BANK OF GREECE 340 EUROS this week. Of course, I don't have to money and even if I did to fly to Greece only to learn that it's all a scam would be particularly cruel, yes? Maybe you could focus on this situation on one of your shows. People fall for it all the time. Some hope and want to help, --others use. -James
