Oprah's good name is being used to scam many people. Central Coast Nutraceuticals, Inc. (AcaiPure) advertises a "free trial" (pay only shipping and handling). When the "free trial" arrives it is accompanied by two products that weren't ordered. I decided not to even try the "free" product because I didn't approve of the way they do business. I read all the fine print and conditions and called the company the same day I received the product. I followed the directions to a "T" and returned the products the next day, getting the required delivery receipts at the post office. I also included a letter advising them why I was returning the unused free sample and the other products and sent a copy to the CEO,Graham D. Gibson in Phoenix,AZ. When my credit card statement arrived, there was a credit,not the correct amount, but also another charge!! After days of trying to get through on their phone, I finally reached a representative that informed me I had not returned the "free trial", only the other two items. That was the reason they charged me again. Asking for a supervisor/manager did no good. He was the authority. He said I was "black listed" and they wouldn't send me any more products (THANK GOODNESS!) and hung up!! Of course I have no way of proving what was in the package I returned but after Googling AcaiPure (too late) I see this whole thing is a scam and they will continue doing this and using Oprah's name to draw fools like me in. PLEASE check this out so others won't go through the same thing. At least get Oprah's name removed from the ad. That's what draws us in!!!!!!!!
