Everyone on this board is bashing Oprah for supporting Obama. You say she has disappointed you, you claim she only supports Obama because he is black. You are also convinced that the only reason why she refuses to have Palin on her show is because she is biased.
But listen people: She is only sticking to her principles, she said she wouldn't interview anyone.
So, she won't interview Obama or Biden, neither will she have McCain or Palin on her show. It's the best way to stay out of campaigning, so why is everybody so angry with her? It's the only plausible decision.
And by the way, for all you accusers telling me Oprah is an ignorant, arrogant and self-centered person: It was just discovered that she is the celebrity that donates most of her money to charity. About $50 million a year, more than anyone else. See here
But, of course, since I've gotten to know you here - you will tell me that none of this matters, fist of all, because she donates most of money outside of the USA (which is of course bad because the US belongs to one of the poorest countries in the world) and because you guys think Oprah earns so much, she should give at least $100 million each year to charity.
But you know what? I don't care what you think and talk. Oprah has done a lot of great things, she really has changed society through her show/books/magazine etc.
She is a remarkable person and she definitely has the right speak her mind and to tell people whom she going to support during election.
So if you can't deal with - don't watch her show. Or go campaigning for your Palin/McCain Dream Team. Or, watch some CNN and make up your own mind who to vote for November 4th.
