I am recommending a new book: OUT WITH THREE: The Murder and Betrayal of Bald Head Island Police Officer Davina Buff Jones by Elaine Buff (pen name). Proceeds from this book will go to the D.B.J. Justice Fund Inc. (see www.officerdavinabuffjones.com). Oprah can go into politics if she wants, but I think what she is doing and has already done helps more people.
I can't imagine anything being more rewarding.
Recently, I was in the library and it occurred to me that the only thing wrong with my life is my failure to recognize and appreciate what I have done, what I do now, and will continue to do. I have struggled to inform other people of certain injustices, unsolved crimes, little-known historical events,etc. I've been that little candle in the wind and Oprah has been a lighthouse. Hope she knows what she has is beautiful right now. And if Obama is President, I will wish him the best. Right now the school bus does not even come every school day and we never know what time it will get here. The Lottery was supposed to make NC Schools better.
I appreciate his speech about fathers. I wish he would speak to everyone about respect and discipline in the schools. Also, there is a need for vocational education. There isn't any shop or home ec. anymore either. Thanks for reading.
