A Boise State gymnast scored a 9.950 and will be the individual qualifier on Bars.
(IF the Head Judge had given Sage her 3rd 9.950, Sage would have advanced to Nationals on Bars
with 3rd tie-breaker as higher ranked on Bars! IF 9.925 had been the high score Sage would have won the tie-breaker over the Nebraska gymnast as the higher ranked!)
Natalie Briones and Jade Carey scored 9.900s on Bars for a six-way tie for 4th!
Olivia Buckner scored a 9.900 on Vault to place in a four-way tie for 4th
with higher scores from gymnasts on three teams in Regional Finals she wont qualify to Nationals.
Sophia Esposito was 6th in the AA with a 39.200.
(National Championships Qualification for Individuals: One All-Arounder and one gymnast will advance to compete at Nationals on each of the four events, for a maximum of 5 gymnasts from each Regional & 20 total, although there can be fewer, as one gymnast could qualify on more than one event. The gymnasts on the two teams advancing to Nationals are removed from the event rankings, then the highest placed AAder advances. After the AAder is removed from the rankings, the highest placed gymnast on an event would advance. If there are ties the tie breakers are: 1. Add the 4 judges scores; 2. Compare the Head Judges score; 3.The gymnast with the highest NQS advances.)
