Welcome to the
Unofficial Message Board for Oregon State Gymnastics!
Ohio State competed today to obtain their first NQS.
One cavate on UF & DU ... since they don't yet have an actual NQS or 3 away meets ... they will have to count whatever score they get this week ... even if they only had 4 gymnasts to compete and scored a 158.000! So their NQS on 2/20 could be lower than what I'm showing for an NQS ... normally NQSs can only go up!
Here I'm showing all the teams that can make the Top-16 on Monday 2/20.
(Maryland that doesn't yet have 6 meets (& therefore no NQS) ... could get as high as #17 by my guesstimate(because they have two meets this week), effecting the "Low Rank" of the teams currently #17-#20.)
For each team I list the current NQS, the season High, the Score to be Dropped (which is the low of the six in the NQS if they have an away meet or have more than 3 home scores in the six ... otherwise it is the low home score), Maximum Potential NQS(=Current NQS + (High Score - Score to be Dropped)/5)
OSU will be ranked between 9th and 11th on Monday 2/20.
Alabama needs a 197.375+ score to exceed OSU's Max. Poten. NQS and move ahead.
Denver needs a 197.450 to pass OSU's current NQS (their season high is 197.500).
OSU needs a 197.300 to guarantee staying ahead of Denver.
Utah does not compete this week, but will stay in 4th place ... they next compete Monday 2/20.
The following week OSU will have a 196.850 away score to drop, rather than this week's 197.200 home score!
