(I think there may be a final NCAA approval pending, but I think just a formality.)
Current:
* 36 teams to 6 six-team Regionals
* Top 2 teams in each 6 team Regional meet advance to Nationals.
* Top 2 AAders & winners on an individual event at each of the 6 Regionals, that aren't on an advancing team, compete at Nationals.
* Nationals: Two 6 team semi-finals, then a six-team Super-Six Team Finals.
NEW:
* 4 Regional/Super-Regional sites.
* Teams ranked #29 to #36 are paired up and pairs compete at a Regional site on the 1st of 3 days of competition as a "Play-in"...
* The winning team from the Play-in joins the other 7 teams for two 4-team Regional meets on Day 2.
* The top two teams from each Regional meet compete in four-team Super-Regional meets on Day 3 ...
* The top two teams from each Super-Regional advance to Nationals.
* The one winning AAder from each Super-Regional, not on an advancing team, competes at Nationals.
* The highest scoring gymnast on each event at each Super-Regional, not on an advancing team or the advancing AAder, competes at Nationals.
* Nationals: Two 4 team semi-finals... top 2 teams from each Semi-Final advance to the Four-on-the-Floor Team Finals.
