Welcome to the
Unofficial Message Board for Oregon State Gymnastics!
"...If you were to throw out the score from the Beavs' clunker at Seattle Pacific in Week 2, they would be ranked 8th..."
This is true, if OSU is the only team to drop a low score (194.535). (#9 Georgia is counting a low road score of 193.600!)
If every team drops their low score, before calculating an average ...
OSU would be ranked 10th! (The teams that would be ahead of OSU are those currently ranked #1 to #9).
If every team drops their low score AND high score, before calculating an average ...
OSU would also be ranked 10th! (The teams that would be ahead of OSU are those currently ranked #1 to #9).
When dropping the high and low, the remaining meets number from 2 to 4 (4 to 6 total meets competed so far) ... where in the upcoming RQS, 5 scores will be averaged after dropping the high of 6.
Go Beavs!!,
Richard
