I'm dreading that this could be the first Regional meet I haven't attended since 1996!

It may have been 2001 (or 2002?) when they started seeding the top 12/18 teams and sending them outside of their Region ... prior to that you knew where "your" regional would be as long as you were in the top 6 teams in your Region.
