I think OSU has a good schedule this year and has had most years, meaning 5 home meets, spread out throughout the season**, and no more than 2 home or 2 away in a row, and 11 meets! (all teams have between 10 & 13 meets before Regionals)
**Two in January, two in February, and one in March (Senior night).
I'd hate to have ...
Stanford's schedule: 3 home meets! ... 1/15 & 1/22 (consecutive weekends) ... no meets in the 29 days of February ... Senior night 3/4!! ... only 10 meets (same as only two other teams ... Kent State & UNC)!
Southern Utah: Similar to Stanford, but 4 home meets, no meets in February, 6 away meets in a row (5 weekends), last home meet 3/16.
(Also similar to SU & SSU are George Washington & Eastern Michigan.)
Seven schools start the season with 3 or more weekends on the road! ... including Oklahoma, UW, Denver, Air Force (only 2 home meets!), and BYU.
In this Leap Year ... only one Division I team competes on Wednesday February 29th! (Eastern Michigan vs Ursinus)
OSU may one day have a not so great schedule ... like in some recent seasons when we have had three away meets in a row ... although I don't remember having a month, in the first three, without a home meet!
