Can't wait for the season to start! Only kinda bummed out that we won't be able to get down for the Orange/Black meet. Those of you who will be down there have GOT to promise to take lots of notes and give us a great review of the meet.
LA and Mandi were trying to get Tanya to make the O/B meet an International/American challenge as well, but I believe Tanya said not this time. Maybe an in-gym challenge. That would have been pretty cool to see ... the internationals would have been LA, Stephanie, Leslie, Olivia, Melanie and Mandi (cuz of her dual citizenship), and the rest would form the American team.
What a great international flavor we have on our team! The Salbasgeon will have a number of Canadians competing on the various teams so it will be a neat chance for these gals to see each other again.
We've been checking out prices for flights and it looks like we will be able to make the Cal one (Oakland on Southwest is coming in around $138 return, SanFran is $98, but times aren't as good) and Utah is shaping up pretty good ... $246 on Alaska. Won't be able to do UCLA as the return flights don't get us home in time for work ... :-( Maybe something will come up closer to the time.
The team is really hoping for some good turn-outs for Utah ... you know how challenging it will be in that arena. Good warm up for post season, though.
Watching flights for PAC 10's as well ... it will be interesting to see if we can get there as well.
