I'm glad I'm not in Corvallis this week ... I see it is ~104F degrees at OSU at ~6pm, ... where I am in Everett, WA it is currently about 88F ... in recent years the Corvallis high temps during the summer have averaged about 10 to 15 degrees higher than here.
Of course like Corvallis, and maybe more so here, most people don't have air-conditioning. I walked to work today, probably the last time this week
... it was about 75F and 65% humidity ... not unbearable, I just end up hot and sweaty when I get to work! My walk home tonight probably won't feel any worse, though I will be as sweaty, if not more so!
The trick will be sleeping the next few nights!
