That is probably more true with it only being used for Regionals and Nationals ... but if during the entire season, when to they get th opportunity to work on some of those bigger skills in meets?
I also think it is pretty crazy talk on the college message board about devaluing skills and increasing difficulty requirements (like requiring a E pass on floor for a 10.0 start value!?) ... to help keep the difficulty high with the 6-6 rule!
... That might not affect the top 10 or so teams too much but it would further distance the top 5-10 teams from the rest ... and the teams 20+ would have no chance of competing ... they would a have a couple of gymnasts on each event possibly that would be competitive, but not 6!
