Hi there - been quiet for a while .... SUPER busy with work and personal life....
Here's some updates on these Canadians you were watching ...
Sydney was coached by LA's (and Kate Richardson's) coach, David, for a couple of years while he was in Calgary (after LA moved to Oregon). She will be a force to be reckon with and thank goodness she had a great meet ... hopefully the powers that be will recognize her strength and give her credit to go to Worlds and other meets now. She'll be a great catch for whoever.
Phoebe trains with David and has followed him from gym to gym to gym. She trained with LA as well in Abbotsford (Twisters), Phoenix (Vancouver) and now Surrey. Phoebe has signed with Washington Huskies.
Charlotte is now training with David .. recently moved in March, I believe. She was training with LA and LA's younger sister, Kristen when we were at Omega.
Another of David's girls, formerly of Omega and teammates of LA and Kristen, is Nicole Pineau. Heard that she is keen to join the Beavs .... I don't know how she did because I can't seem to get into the results on my computer at home!!!! She's got great lines, but has a little bit of confidence building to do as a result of her previous gym ... has come a long way already. Other recruitables that David is coaching ... Kaitlyn Urano .. hoping to be at BYU next year, and Korenza Mitchell ... a few years yet to go (2012 I believe)
So, a whole whack of 'local' Canadians - all with connections to LA!!!
