CBI is the "College Basketball Invitational." You have the NCAAs, below that the NIT (National Invitational Tournament), and then the CBI. It may not be the most prestigious tournament in the country, but hey--considering where the b-ball team was LAST year, these same kids are having a great season!
As a side note, I think I heard last night that attendance was at 4,700 at Gill for the game...comparable to a well-attended gymnastics meet. Good to see that a women's sport can bring in the same attendance as a more traditional men's sport!
