yes that is just the press release ... you can tell by the lack of an author credit.
Here is another article ... not my favorite writer
... but I've been surprised by how he sounds on the radio. I don't really like his writing style, ... and there are some things that don't quite make sense ... like Regionals just being another meet for OSU because we have made it to every Regional (making it to Regionals isn't much of an accomplishment for a team that is trying to be a Super-Six team) ... the point is we haven't made it out of every Regionals, so it isn't like any other meet!
