: I think it would be ok to wait and buy tickets
: at the arena on the day of the meet, ... it
: "might" save you a little time if
: you bought on-line and picked up at
: will-call ... since it might be quicker to
: pick up at will-call than buy tickets then,
: but I'm not sure ... and it may not be worth
: the extra $6 to order on-line ... obviously
: they won't sell out (with a capacity of
: several thousand).
:
: I understand your nervousness about the
: travel , and going to a meet outside of
: Corvallis, ... but at least you will be
: driving to the meet in the daylight (makes
: it MUCH easier to find your way around), and
: with less traffic that there would be for a
: Friday night meet!
:
: The parking should be very easy, especially
: if you get there "early" ... the
: closest parking is south of Husky Football
: Stadium ... the entrance is off of MontLake
: Blvd ... I'm sure you can pull up your own
: mapo, but here is a UW map of that area:
: South-Central Campus
:
: Coming from North-bound I-5 you would take
: 520 east to the first exit (only ~1/2 mile
: off of I-5), turn left onto Montlake Blvd
: ... in about 1/4 mile you will turn right
: into the Stadium parking lot (you cross the
: draw-bridge in the middle of this 1/4 mi.).
: If coming from the North on Montlake, ...
: coming from the north on Montlake, I'm
: pretty certain you can turn left at the
: light into this same parking lot (labeled
: E11/E12 in the map above).
