I spoke at length with Louis wife and sister today. He is still in ICU at Akron City Hospital after 7-months. He entered last September of 2002 for 6-artery by pass surgery with one bursting during the operation which complicated the surgery. Total surgery time was 20 hours. However, his spirit and his will is very strong and he keeps talking about coming home. His family is constantly praying for his recovery. His mind and spirit are very good. The family is taking his situation one day at a time. He just keeps having little set backs each time it looks like he will get well enough to come home. I promised his wife that I will continue to check in with her on his status.
