From the minutes of the fifth annual reunion meeting Oct. 9th 2004, Tom Schurter (53) OMIHA Chairman declared that OMIHA now has a 50th Battalion in honor of those who have and/or will be celebrating 50 years since their graduation or celebrating 50 years from the year they would have graduated if O.M.I. stayed opened. The requirements to be eligible for this honor are to be a dues paying member and have attended at least one reunion.
