To the person who asked about an OMI campus near Traverse City, Michigan - My grandfather, Albert M. Henshaw ("the Colonel") who attended and subsequently owned and operated OMI until his death, owned a farm on the west bank of Lake Leelanau about a mile south of the village of Lake Leelanau. He spent summers there. The farm is now owned by my father's sister's family, Evan Birch et al. This is the only OMI connection to the Traverse City area that I know of.
Best wishes to all OMI Alums...I still remember fondly your kind hospitality at the reunion of 2007. I was in Collerge Hill recently and took my wife and cousins to see the OMI site and the historical marker that was installed last year.
