dear mr strayer i live in the old miami military institure in germantown ohio that was founded by orvan graff brown in 1839. his parents were rev kennedy brown pres. of weslyn college in cinn untill 1856 at which time he came to mmi to help his son the school went under at the time of the depression due to low funds. this school was headed by the u.s. goverment for 30 years by a col. bell and col. brown i was wondering why there are no reports made about this school knowing that 144 of their graduating class was commision officers in the war. any ideas of what i can do to help preserve the history of this wonder school. thanks lisa g partee germantown ohio
