Gary has come through successful surgery a week ago Monday, August 11, 2003 to remove one of his kidneys that had cancer. The operation was very successful with all the cancer being removed as well as the kidney. His remaining kidney is also in good shape to serve him well for the rest of his life. He came home Saturday, August 16, 2003. I spoke with him yesterday and he sounded great and is doing fine. He thanks all of those who were praying for him and his family.
