Posted by Judy & Laney on January 20, 2007, 9:16 pm Laney ended up giving us another scare, and I am really still shaken up by it.... Ontop of Laney having sev quad mixed tone cerbral pasly, she is also diagnosed with........ ~aspiration problems with recurring aspiration pneumonia The other night Laney had another eposide in her bed that resulted in her aspirating (we believe she probably had another big seizure, then she vomitting and started to choke on it), she turned blue in colour again and a big rush the the hosiptal to check her lung for aspiration again. After staying in the hospital for a over a day for observation, Laney was aloud to come home. I am starting to begin to fear the worse will happen and that one time I will not make it to her room in time to save her.... Are there other parents going there the same things with there little ones or those that have been there it aswell???? I really feel alone sometimes and wish I had someone to talk too that understands... I also often wonder if life for Laney will get easier as she gets older, as the last two and a half years, she has basically lived in and out of hosiptal due to aspirating, pneumonia, seizuring, ect..... Thankyou for listening... Judy & Laney
I really hope that someone will be able to ease my mind and be a very kind ear to listen also.
