I have a child with cerebral palsy. She requires a wheelchair and is very delayed, but very happy. She cannot feed herself and is not vocal. She weighs about 40-45 lbs. Now she eats well, but a new doctor and dietician thinks she should put on weight. My drug plan does not cover anything like PEDIASURE or over the counter items.
Does anyone know the different types of pediatric supllements? Are there powder kinds that can be mixed with milk? What brands are recommended? Which are less expensive? I dont want to sound cheap, but that stuff really adds up when a drug plan wont cover it. Trust me I tried.
