It's a battle to try to get his needs met. He should be g-tube fed through the day, he needs to have his teeth brushed after anything food oriented is in his mouth. He has degradation on the back of his head because they won't use his chair and so he lays on the floor part of the time there. The first response I always get is, "it's not in our policy". Why isn't it a "It's not in our policy but I'll see what I can do"? This daycare should be exceptional and yet he's two years old, in the infant room not aloud to use the equiptment made for him and I don't have a choice but to have him in care. I'm a single parent of 2, with an x who will likely have nothing to give him and I have to prepare for providing for him for the rest of his life, so I have to get through University even if it is at snale pace. I do all I can, how do I make them meet his needs? I know he should have individual care but subsidy doesn't cover that and I don't have that. Is this just me, is anyone else fighting to have their child cared for the way they need? I persist, is there anythying else I can do? Are you having trouble with this?
