Posted by Judy on December 4, 2006, 3:08 pm, in reply to "seizures" My daughter Laney is 2.5yrs old and has had seizures since she was in the womb they believe. Laney has life treatening seizures and also has small tiny seizures.. really it depends on the day with Laney with what will happen with seizures!!!! When Laney seizures, she goes into full body shaking (scary enough that her head will hit off the floor), then she refluxes and she will choke and turn blue, we have been lucky enough to find medication that has put the seizures at ease but it does not fully stop them.. Laney will also have seizures that her eyes role back or her legs and arms shake in a ryhmn pattern... Also when Laney gets sick her seizure seem to come out more too.. Laney will also get very tired after having a seizure too... I would tell your doctor (do they have someone covering for them, while on prenancy leave???) and the next time it happens I would go to emerge in the hosiptal and see if they give you an ECG scan to see if you are having seizures or not.. Best Of Luck!!! Judy & Laney 2.5yrs dx with sev quad mixed tone cp, GERDS, aspiration problems with recurring aspiraion pneumonia, failure to thrive, ashtma, reactive airway disease, seizures & J feeding tube
