HI KAY;
I'M GRACEY, I TOO HAVE CP, BUT I'M IN A WHEEL CHAIR. I NEVER HAD KNEE REPLACEMENT SURGERY, BUT ABOUT SEVEN YEARS AGO I DID HAVE TOTAL HIP REPLACEMENT SURGERY. IT WAS THE BEST THING I COULD HAVE DONE, BECAUSE BEFORE THE SURGERY I WAS IN TERRIBLE PAIN. I TOO WAS VERY SCARED TO HAVE IT DONE, BUT YOU KNOW SOMETIMES FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN IS THE WORST KIND OF FEAR. I CAME THROUGH IT WITH VERY LITTLE TROUBLE, AND AFTER SEVEN YEARS I'M STILL PAIN FREE IN THAT HIP. THAT WAS MY EXPERIENCE, AND I HOPE AND PRAY THAT WOULD BE YOURS AS WELL. HOPE THIS HELPS KAY. KEEP US POSTED ON HOW YOU'RE DOING. HAVE A GOOD DAY.
GRACEY
