I have a 14 month old son with severe PVL and as a result has been diagnosed with spastic quad CP. He is also a twin and I can't help but wonder when, or if ever, my son will begin to sit up on his own, babble, grab things? I hope that someone out there can give me some inspiration or hope. I watch his twin cruise along the furniture and say a handful of words and it makes me so sad. I want so much to wake up tomorrow and have Charles sit up in his crib and say mama. All the "specialists" say "wait and see what Charles is capable of" but the waiting game is torture. In all your expertise what has your experience been with spastic quad cp?
Thanks for letting me vent.
Kelly
