New Warriors 12... (spoilers)

The art was good; the story was NOT. Two misses in a row...

Willing to be blamed for lack of trivia retention on the characters but - still didn't like it. Too much Machinesmith as the Multiple-Transformer happening. Too much Warriors generic-ness. Too much yakkity yak when they should be doing something to help the other 4 'toot-sweet'(sp?). Too much, Jono's sound-suit was just too much to accept (not imagine). Too much commonplace disposable/interchangable, supervariety, superpower cartridges - like they were trading Pokemon cards there. Too much unclarity with Diablo interlude (should probably know that guy, w/convenient cartridges, but didnt and didnt bother looking him up). Too much like the EXACT same story and ending as last issue.

My next issue would have:
Cover: Thrasher saying "Things are going to change around here..."
PrevPage: Have team mugshots and full names; plus, in title note the TOTAL # of parts.
One page: Diablo using his awesomeness to determine who stole from him and footnote/describe the Book of Shades.
One page: Stark address both detectives BY NAME, and follow up on that interlude going on, updating New Guardsman status and place story relevant to SI continuity.
Also: Machinesmith reveals he cannot perfect the technovirus and that is why he is UNCONTROLLABLY changing shapes. Tempest or Phaser dies. FSI or Capekiller team show up to stop Machinesmith. Thrash's tech trio reluctantly show up, in costumes, along with the returning team but too late as they watch the arrests made. Return to HQ where more dissention forces Thrash to disband team with intention of starting a new team from scratch...
