Posted by Michael Jung on 7/11/2007, 10:48 pm Just got done reading the Great Lakes Initiative/Deadpool Summer Fun Special (pick one up! it's a GREAT read!) and found it very heartening that a Speedball unscarred by the events of Civil War is still alive and well in the alternate future 2099 thanks to Robert Kirkman's Marvel Team Up storyline. Actually, the whole scene between Squirrel Girl and Speeball makes me wonder if Kirkman knew about Civil War and made the decision to send some of his favorite heroes to the future to create "back up copies" of them before they could be tainted by recent events in the Marvel U.

SPOILER alert for "League of Losers" storyline in Marvel Team Up as well...
