Definitly too soon to criticise, having just re-read EXILES #72 (beak's very last appearance, it was on the first page of the issue), all that could have happened is that Beak started to work out and used hair dye.
There's also (theoretically) the possibility of an image inducer being used.
Sofia's dialogue needs work though, but her attitude is all there
