Posted by PaxHouse : In short, I loved this issue (it's pretty close to the perfect comic, to me and I don't think I've been in a position to say that very often, I naturally nitpick!), Cebulski clearly understands Ricochet's character, which is nice to see (he actually seems to respect Rico and understand that he is more then just a mutant with Spider-Man's powers) and Maline's art seems to fit the story perfectly. Normally, it wouldn't be the sort of art which I like but it just seems to fit the tone of the mini series completely. : I thought that the recap page was done very well, Cebulski writing it in the format of Johnny writing it as a letter to his dead friend, Eddie (Hornet) was highly effective I thought. On the subject of Eddie and his death, it's nice to see more substance given to Hornet's death, it's nice to see it has had a long-term effect (which I hope will continue to be explored) rather then as a cannon-fopdder death (which is all it was to Millar, I *still* consider Hornet's death a waste of Marvel's most interesting characters, who had a lot of untapped potential but at least it now has some meaning!). Is it just me or does anyone else see potential for a flash-back Hornet mini-series though... [ : Hollow's (or if you prefer the Gen Xer formerly known as Penance's) introduction into the mini on the last page was also well done, I thought and it's going to be interesting to see what role she will play throughout the rest of the mini. Hollow/Penance is a character I've always been fond of, since her first appearance in Generation X but I really hope Cebulski will somehow be able to simplify her origin. .....Just to let you know James, if you wish to use the coding for making bold, italized or underlining words, it's best to replace '[ ]' and used '< >' instead..{As you can tell by the 'Re-edited' LONERS #2's Spoilers ....

: If you want my thoughts on the issue, you can have them:

: As with the first issue, I also really enjoyed the apparant friendship between Johnny (Ricochet) and Chris (Darkhawk), I just like the panels with the two together, there seems to be a great comeraderie (spelling?) there. Whilst I'm on the subject of Chris though, I have to say I was suprised to see him going on a date with Mickey (Turbo), I suppose it *does* make sense given their time together in the New Warriors and I think it will be interesting to see develop (especially when Mickey learns that Chris has been active as Darkhawk again) but it did seem to come from left field (not that it's a bad thing though, I actually think it's potentially very interesting).
: I also loved the Ricochet versus Delilah battle in this issue, I always liked Delilah back when she was appearing in Amazing Spider-Man and, having just re-read the "Identity Crisis" arc (and more specifically I just yesterday read Amazing Spider-Man #435 when Delilah fought Peter in his Ricochet guise) it was nice to see a re-match (of sorts).
: Much to my suprise, and delight, though I can honestly say that I really can't find any major flaws with this issue which is a very pleasant situation to be in!
