Posted by Star Thief on 11/2/2006, 1:38 am Rage: I can see him siding with Captain America, since Rage is probably more concerned with street level crime, much like Luke Cage. Silhouette: See Above Speedball: I like what they've done with Speedball so far, since he's been placed in an interesting position that shows his ideals and examines his character. My biggest contentions: Firestar: Would Angelica just quit? Yes, she's a female Peter Parker that's more interested in having a normal life than being a superheroine, and she's never had the greatest motivation for being a superheroine. She joined the Warriors because Thrasher asked her, and she joined the Avengers because of Vance. I understand that she would probably put the costume aside since the risk might not seem worth it at the moment, but I can't help but think that Angel would still become Firestar if the need arose (and she probably will). I think I doubt the idea that she would actually talk to a reporter and so that the world would know that Firestar was quitting, since Angel was always one of the more private characters in comics. Plus, she's already defactor registered because of her mutant status and likely unmasked to the public thanks to Carlton, so it can be argued that she will be a target regardless. Justice: I'm not convinced that the New Warriors' original boyscout would be so willing to go against the law given his history. I can see Vance disagreeing with Registration and openly opposing it, but I can't see him going underground to run around with Cap's group. The Warriors, at their heart, were always about the shades of gray, and I think some of their characters, especially Justice, wouldn't be so quick to side with either stance. Vance in particular knows the dangers of superhuman powers, so I think he would definately be somewhat sympathetic to the Registration side and he could probably make one of the stronger arguments for that stance. It was also shown that when he was a prisoner in the Vault, Vance believed in working within the system to correct the system. On the other hand, especially because of his ethnicity, I can understand that Vance would be very critical of Registration. But I can't see him running around with an underground group, even if it's led by Captain America. So, not to comment on how Marvel has handled the Registration issue, but what do folks think of the Warriors involvement so far? Star Thief

Not to comment on Civil War as a whole, but I'm not sure if every Warrior's role in event makes sense.
