I was actually giving this thought the other day. I believe the Warriors just might be alive.
When Nitro blew up, Speedball could have push
his powers to their limit, and knocked the other
Warriors out of harms way, but exposed himself
to the blast and shorted out his powers. Night Thrasher,Nita, and fatboy(don't really care for the
character) after coming to, see the results and
go into hiding. Planning on breaking Speedy out of
prison. Of course joining Cap in his fight against
that idiot Ironman.

: You might be on to something guy. Like you
: said earlier, its possible the New Warriors
: might be alive. We don't how they survive
: that impact/explosion by Nitro. Keep
: believing without doubting. Fella. You are
: very close cracking down/solving this
: mystery.
:
: I have to agree with you all the way. I
: think. Marvel is trying to throw us off,
: making us believe that the New Warriors are
: dead. And not alive.
:
: Marvel has plans of bringing back the New
: Warriors in 2007. I don't know how? or what?
: Few months ago, Marvel had a vote/poll bring
: back the New Warriors, Defenders and more
: other comicbook titles. I am not sure if
: anyone remembers Marvel had a poll on their
: website.

: This is going to sound strange, given the
: last
: several months of posts on this site, but...
: is there actually any PROOF that Night
: Thrasher, Microbe and Namorita Prentiss are
: dead?
:
: It may sound like I'm grasping at straws,
: but given Marvel's general reluctance to
: permanently kill characters, I find the
: following line, part of the Night Thrasher
: entry in The All New Official Handbook of
: the Marvel Universe #8, to be suspicious:
: "The [reality TV] series took a tragic
: turn during an episode in Stamford,
: Connecticut, where the villain Nitro caused
: an explosion that killed hundreds --
: including, it seems, Night Thrasher and the
: other Warriors present."
:
: Operative words, "it seems."
:
: Plus, Wizard Magazine #179 notes that the
: New Warriors face "an uncertain
: future" in Civil War: Front Line
: "and beyond."
:
: What do you guys think? am I grasping at
: straws here, thinking that Marvel may be
: planning a new series based on the Warriors?
