They were not involved in the Stamford tragedy that pushed the Act into law. They are simply going along with the Act since the government decided to put it into effect. : Tony That is true. Of course, the same can be said of most superheroes, but Tony moreso than most. That still doesn't make him responsible for policies that the government made, and it doesn't make him responsible for the actions of prison guards or inmates. Well, since they happen to agree with the Act, they are not especially likely to stand up and say it is wrong for heroes to be held accountable for their actions and their mistakes. I'm sure that Tony, Reed and Hank would not condone the way Robbie is being treated in the prison--but they also don't have any control over the situation. Also, we don't know that they are even aware of what is happening with Speedball. Somehow I doubt the prison has announced to Tony or Reed that they are allowing him to be abused. That isn't the sort of thing they like to talk about. : If Speedball were to die, these That is a major exaggeration, imo.
