There's no evidence to suggest that Nitro would've exploded and killed those children without being provoked by the New Warriors first, though.
: Even though, Night thrasher wasn't aware of
: Nitro plans, but he could have used
: Speedball's kinetic ability in his plans
: protecting themselves from Nitro explosives.
: At least, the New Warriors would have been
: alive to explain their side of the story.
: Instead, the public received the wrong ideas
: about them, for trying to protect/save them
: from being harm or killed by villains.
:
: Its shows a lack of misunderstanding,
: ungratefulness and unfair to the New
: Warriors. Without the New Warriors or not,
: Nitro would have killed everyone around him.
: Nitro is a villain and a psycho killer. He
: doesn't care who he kills off. As long as,
: he gets the job done. And Its like that! And
: that's way it is huuuuuuu! By RUNDMC

: I'm not saying the New Warriors were right.
: They weren't. But thinking that Nitro would
: blow up a school full of children is like
: thinking terrorists would fly a plane into a
: building. There's no way a decent human
: being could prepare for some monster doing
: that. That said, it still isn't right to
: set up Speedball to die in prison in order
: to get him to sign a piece of paper so that
: Iron Man's lackeys and thugs have a
: propaganda victory.

: Before striking out, Night thrasher makes a
: plan ahead of time and learning about his
: enemy's powers/ability, weaknesses and
: strong points. Plus, Night thrasher trains
: his teammates to take precaution before
: attacking their foes. Unexpectedly. Its very
: obvious. At the same time,The executive
: writer didn't have any plans and didn't care
: about the New Warriors. If so, he would've
: kept the New Warriors in the pages of Marvel
: comics.
