If I put a gazelle who can't defend itself in a cage with hungry lions, I killed it even if I'm nowhere nearby when it happens. The PTB in the MU are so desperate to have Speedball admit guilt they're willing to get him killed by fellow inmates to get it. That makes the men in charge MORE responsible for the torture than the men doing it because the ones who put Speedball there are making it possible.
: Marvel editorial has tried claiming that
: each
: side on CW is being written as honestly
: believing they're right and that no one is
: being portrayed as a villain but that's a
: load of crap, isn't it? The ongoing torture
: of Speedball by the alleged good guys is
: putting the lie to that
:
: Speedball is not being tortured by the 'good
: guys'. Speedball is being tortured by his
: fellow prisoners, and by some pissed off
: prison guards.
:
: If it were Stark and Pym who were directly
: involved with what is happening to
: Speedball, then I might agree with you...but
: I don't think Marvel ever promised that
: every single person on both sides within
: Civil War would be portrayed as
: noble and perfect.
