The ongoing torture : of Speedball by the alleged good guys is : putting the lie to that Speedball is not being tortured by the 'good guys'. Speedball is being tortured by his fellow prisoners, and by some pissed off prison guards. If it were Stark and Pym who were directly involved with what is happening to Speedball, then I might agree with you...but I don't think Marvel ever promised that every single person on both sides within Civil War would be portrayed as noble and perfect.
