Civil War Is Slanted

Marvel editorial has tried claiming that each side on CW is being written as honestly believing they're right and that no one is being portrayed as a villain but that's a load of crap, isn't it? The ongoing torture of Speedball by the alleged good guys is putting the lie to that as well as the way the Scientists Three (Pym, Richards, And Stark) are all being written. Sure, Speedball is misguided in believing that he and his late teammates did nothing wrong themselves but his short stories are making me angry at those so willing to have him suffer like this. I know, I know. That points to good writing but it also tells us that Cap's side is clearly the right side according to the editors and writers involved and that lessens CW for me somewhat.
