My child will be 2 in Dec. We are supposed to attend a party this weekend where his cousins will be. His cousins currently have chicken pox. I have always heard that if I here of chick pox going around that I should run him right over and let him get exposed to it, to "get it out of the way" I see how that would be a good thing, but everything that I read on the inet says that I should keep him away and hope that he doesn't contract it. I'm confused and don't know where to go with my son. Anyone know about this subject if so...let me know. PS I do not have him immunized for any disease: by choice.
