hi there my son is now coming up to 11yrs old he was diagnosed with nyphrotic syndrom when he was 3 years old hes was on steroids for the first 6 months then they put him onto the Cyclophosphamide he was on that for 12 weeks i was amazed by it because it made him clear for a whole year ,but then he relapsed he is now on cyclosporin and he has been on this now for 4 years when he first started the cyclosporin he was on the steroids then he would be weened off them then it would take about 6 months for him to relapse but for the past year my son has been on steroids then weened off them then he would relapse within a week he has been on 80mlg off steroids now for about 2 yrs on and off i have spoken to he renal specialist and i have said that the cyclosporin is not working because he keeps relapsing alot so now they are looking into giving him something called (MMS) if anyone with any info i would be greatfull to hear from many thanx tanya .
