My 20-month-old son was diagnosed with NS two weeks ago (probably Minimal Change Disease) and is responding well to Prednisone (within days). I was devastated and shocked, but I'm trying to stay strong and positive.
I know that 1 child out of 3 will get one course of Prednisone and never relapse. But what about the others? What proportion of kids relapse only once in a while versus frequently? I know each case is different, but the doctors don't seem to even want to give me a general idea about that...
Thank you for your support.
