I totally know what you mean. I am from the UK and everytime I plan to go home to see my family she relapses and I can't go - can't drag her on an airplane and to London while she is like this. I don't know what to do, now I am hopng to go for easter when the weather is a bit better there but what if she relapses while i am in England????????

: My 21 month old daughter was just diagnosed
: with MCNS last Monday. She seems to be
: doing well and starting to respond to the
: Prednisone. Now that things are started to
: sink in and the short term concerns seem to
: be coming under control, I'm not sure how we
: plan for long term things. For example, the
: plan is that she'll be on the Pred for a
: total of 16 weeks which brings us through
: the end of January. We had planned on
: taking a Disney Carribean cruise in February
: - so how do I know if we should cancel that
: (in case something happens with her Pred or
: she relapses or she shouldn't be around so
: many kids???)? We had also planned on
: trying to get pregnant at the beginning of
: the year and I wonder if we should wait
: until we have a better idea of what
: Madison's pattern will be - if there even is
: such a thing. I know that these aren't
: questions that someone else can answer for
: me - I just don't know how to begin making
: these types of decisions.
:
: Any help?
