My 21 month old daughter was just diagnosed with MCNS last Monday. She seems to be doing well and starting to respond to the Prednisone. Now that things are started to sink in and the short term concerns seem to be coming under control, I'm not sure how we plan for long term things. For example, the plan is that she'll be on the Pred for a total of 16 weeks which brings us through the end of January. We had planned on taking a Disney Carribean cruise in February - so how do I know if we should cancel that (in case something happens with her Pred or she relapses or she shouldn't be around so many kids???)? We had also planned on trying to get pregnant at the beginning of the year and I wonder if we should wait until we have a better idea of what Madison's pattern will be - if there even is such a thing. I know that these aren't questions that someone else can answer for me - I just don't know how to begin making these types of decisions.
